Because what your clothes are made of can make all the difference.
Have you ever fallen in love with a piece, only to put it on and realize it doesn’t feel anything like you expected? Maybe it’s stiff, scratchy, doesn’t breathe, or simply isn’t comfortable enough to wear all day. That’s why the fabric matters.🧵 🪡 What a garment is made of can make all the difference in how it feels against your skin, how it moves with you, and how you feel every time you wear it.
I especially love natural fabrics like cotton, linen, and silk because they tend to feel soft, breathable, and comfortable against the skin.🧺 🫧 Fabrics like terry cloth and other textured materials can add that extra cozy feel we all love, while different blends can give a piece the stretch, structure, or durability it needs.
Then there’s polyester, one of the most common synthetic fibers in fashion. It’s strong, wrinkle-resistant, and easy to care for, but because it’s made from petroleum-based materials, it generally isn’t as breathable as natural fibers and can hold onto heat and moisture. That doesn’t mean polyester is always a bad choice—it has its place—but when I have the choice, I love reaching for fabrics that feel more natural and comfortable against the skin.🌿 ☁️
